Diabetes Brings a Heavy Mental Load
The mental burden of managing diabetes is multifaceted, with varied impacting daily behaviors, medications, and technology. Helping patients choose an automated insulin delivery (AID) system requires balancing their perceptions and preferences with the wide range of system features, algorithms, and settings, all aimed at achieving the best possible outcomes.
Control-IQ+: The Only System with Predictive AutoBolus*
Continuous Automation + AutoBolus reduces user burden and improves outcomes.
Control-IQ+ uses predictive CGM values; looking ahead 30 minutes every 5-minutes
Basal delivery responds to gradual changes in predicted glucose
AutoBolus proactively delivers a bolus to help prevent and treat hyperglycemia (>180 mg/dL)*
Predictive values enable optimized response to both rapid and gradual changes in glucose

More Time in Automation Results in Higher Time in Range
Unlike other systems, Control-IQ+ does NOT kick patients out of automation due to:
Persistent highs or lows
Missed calibrations
Insulin delivery methods
Control-IQ+ outperforms Omnipod 5 for inconsistent bolusers1
~4 hours more / day spent in automation compared to Omnipod 51
+8% greater time in range compared to Omnipod 51
Tandem prioritizes choice to fit patient needs
Control-IQ+ powers both Tandem form factors — the t:slim X2 pump and the Tandem Mobi system.
The all-in-one t:slim X2 insulin pump features a sleek, color touchscreen and holds up to 300 units of insulin. Patients have the option to bolus from a compatible smartphone using the Tandem t:slim Mobile app. The t:slim X2 pump is compatible with Dexcom G7 CGM Systems and the Abbott FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus Sensor.
Tandem Mobi offers wearability like never before with three different wear options – on-body with the adhesive sleeve (sold separately), clipped to clothing with the pump case, or slipped into a pocket. Tandem Mobi holds 200 units of insulin and is fully controlled by a compatible iOS or Android smartphone. Tandem Mobi is compatible with the Dexcom G7 CGM System.
Both pumps are compatible with a variety of infusion sets offering different cannula lengths, materials, and angles and a variety of tubing lengths – including 5” tubing allowing the Tandem Mobi to be worn on body.

*If glucose values are predicted to be above 180 mg/dL, Control-IQ+ technology calculates an AutoBolus using the Personal Profile settings and a target of 110 mg/dL and delivers 60% of that value.
